Vandalising a police metal detector has landed a Wigan 30-year-old with a conditional discharge.
Cameron Foley, of Orchard Street, Wigan, stood before borough justices to plead guilty to causing criminal damage to the wall-mounted device on January 31.
The bench conditionally discharged him for 12 months.
